Gropius
Gropius is single-weight display font endowed with strong graphic qualities, offering a stylish, stand-out alternative to most regular sans serif typefaces on the market.
There’s also a somewhat serendipitous 20th century aspect to the solid ‘fill’ styling, which in turn has inspired the naming... done purely as a respectful homage to the late Walter Gropius, founder of the infamous Bauhaus school of modernism, which went on to help define that enduring decade within The Arts.
The basic template started with a ‘fill’ on the ‘Trans Sanz Light’ character set, and consequently both fonts automatically complement each other should you need some sympathetic pairing.
The default set also comes with an interesting array of alternate characters, helping to vary and personalise your word settings. Also, as with other ArtyType fonts, such stylish characters provide the option to stand alone, potentially acting as logos or icons in their own right.
